DECLARATION OF ADHERENCE TO LICENSING CONDITIONS AND REGULATIONS

Between

Motorsports Kenya – Federation & the Applicant (Parent / Guardian)

hereby apply for the grant, renewal, or continuation of a licence issued by Motorsports Kenya Federation ("the Federation").

In consideration of the Federation issuing or renewing my licence, I hereby declare and undertake as follows:

1. COMPLIANCE WITH THE CONSTITUTION AND REGULATIONS

I acknowledge that my licence is issued subject to compliance with:

a) The Constitution of Motorsports Kenya Federation;

b) All Sporting, Technical, Safety and Competition Regulations;

c) The Code of Conduct, Ethics and Integrity Policies;

d) Any Supplementary Regulations, Bulletins, Directives and Decisions issued by the Federation, Event Organisers, Stewards or authorised officials;

e) Any applicable anti-doping, safeguarding, medical and disciplinary regulations.

2. ACCEPTANCE OF THE RULES OF MOTORSPORT

I undertake to:

a) Conduct myself in a safe, fair and sportsmanlike manner at all times;

b) Respect the authority and decisions of officials appointed by the Federation;

c) Observe all safety requirements applicable to my licence category;

d) Promote the interests, reputation and integrity of motorsport in Kenya;

e) Refrain from any conduct that may bring the Federation, the sport, officials, competitors, organisers or sponsors into disrepute.

3. FITNESS AND ELIGIBILITY

I declare that:

a) I am eligible to hold the licence for which I am applying;

b) The information provided in my application is true and accurate;

c) I will immediately notify the Federation of any circumstance that may affect my eligibility, fitness or suitability to hold a licence.

4. DISCIPLINARY JURISDICTION

I acknowledge and accept that:

a) I am subject to the disciplinary authority of the Federation;

b) Any breach of the Constitution, Regulations, Code of Conduct or licence conditions may result in disciplinary action;

c) Sanctions may include warnings, fines, penalties, suspension, withdrawal of licence, exclusion from events or any other sanction authorised under the Federation's rules.

5. SAFETY OBLIGATIONS

I understand that motorsport is inherently dangerous and undertake to:

a) Comply with all safety regulations and instructions;

b) Use only approved safety equipment where required;

c) Report any safety concerns, incidents or hazards to the appropriate officials;

d) Participate only when medically fit to do so.

6. MEDIA AND SOCIAL MEDIA CONDUCT

I undertake to conduct myself responsibly in public communications and on social media and shall not publish or disseminate material that is false, defamatory, abusive, discriminatory or likely to bring the sport or the Federation into disrepute.

7. DECLARATION

I confirm that I have read, understood and agree to comply with the licensing conditions, Constitution, Regulations and policies of Motorsports Kenya Federation.

I further acknowledge that my licence may be suspended, revoked or refused renewal if I fail to comply with these obligations.

PARENT / GUARDIAN CONSENT (For Applicants Under 18 Years)

I, the undersigned parent/guardian, consent to this application and agree that the applicant shall comply with the Federation's licensing conditions and regulations.

IMPORTANT NOTICE TO APPLICANTS

Submission of this application does not automatically entitle the applicant to the grant or renewal of a licence.

All applications shall be subject to review and vetting by the relevant Motorsport Commission and thereafter submitted to the National Executive Committee (NEC) of Motorsports Kenya Federation for consideration and approval.

The Federation reserves the right to approve, defer, request additional information, or reject any application where the applicant does not satisfy the applicable eligibility requirements, licensing criteria, or standards of conduct expected by the Federation.

Applicants shall be notified in writing of the outcome of their application. Where an application is approved, the applicant shall be required to pay the prescribed licence fee within the period specified by the Federation before the licence is issued and becomes valid.

No applicant shall participate in any activity requiring a licence until the licence has been formally issued by Motorsports Kenya Federation.
